Well this is me, Girlie, and I hope you are enjoying your little visit with me.  I hope to be able to introduce you to some of my family, tell you a little about me and some of the things I like.

 So what is there to tell? LOL.  I am a very fun loving, caring person with a zest for life and a lot of love to give. I had a hard life growing up, facing many trauma's but I am also a survivor and my life's battles have just made me a stronger person!  I married for the first time quite young, had 4 beautiful children who have blessed me with 11 grand-children.  My first marriage proved as challenging to me as my "growing" years and we divorced some years later.   My second husband, Geoff, was everything I wanted in a life-time partner and for an all too short time we were very happy, but tragically Geoff was taken from me by Cancer, leaving me devastated and having to pick up the pieces again.

 Then I met Mick and several years later we eventually "tied the knot" and we were very happy for many years but the pressures of working together in your own business, being together constantly began to take its toll and we have separated but still enjoy a great friendship and still spend a lot of time together.

 I have 3 brothers and 2 sisters and we are a pretty close knit family even though we are separated by many miles, in fact we all live in different States of Australia!  I live in Queensland (the sunny State...LOL) along with my older sister Janette, but not for much longer as she is moving back "home" to Victoria after many, many years living up here in Qld.   My other sister, Lyndall now lives in Tasmania, having moved there 2 years ago from Adelaide. She has a beautiful website which you can visit here.   Then there are my brothers, Keith who lives in Adelaide, Ian who is my eldest brother, and now Kelly, who we only just found out he was our brother a few months ago but have heard nothing else from him since then and we are getting concerned.  Both Ian and Kelly live in Victoria.  You can learn a little bit more about our family history by clicking here.

 My interests include being on the Internet and making lots of friends online, making and meeting new friends, reading, swimming, and just having a good time.  And I love my gardens and plants, and the magnificent Tiger.  My favorite type of music is 50's,60's,70's and of course Rock N Roll.
